From there, flat-fee mediation, negotiation and drafting packages cover the most common family and justice court matters, and hourly representation at $250 per hour, billed in 15-minute increments, is reserved for contested cases that cannot be scoped in advance. Complex matters can combine the two: flat fees for the defined phases and hourly billing for the contested pieces, set out in the engagement letter.
