A practice built on purpose
Entitled Family & Civil Law was founded to deliver thoughtful, strategic representation to Arizona families and individuals at the most consequential moments of their lives.

Meet Sammijo Johnson
Sammijo Johnson is the founder of Entitled Family & Civil Law and an Arizona Licensed Legal Paraprofessional. She established the firm on a simple premise: that meaningful legal help should be accessible, transparent, and deeply attentive to the individual circumstances of every client.
Sammijo Johnson is the founder of Entitled Family & Civil Law. She has passed the Arizona Legal Paraprofessional examinations in core skills, family law and civil law, and her license application is before the Arizona Supreme Court's Board of Nonlawyer Legal Service Providers. She established the firm on a simple premise: that meaningful legal help should be accessible, transparent, and deeply attentive to the individual circumstances of every client.
A wife and mother of three daughters, Sammijo has called Arizona home since 2011 and lives in the Biltmore area of Phoenix. Her practice is grounded in the lived understanding that family and civil matters reach far beyond the courtroom, and that effective representation requires both technical precision and real care.
Sammijo's work focuses on family law, civil litigation, and strategic advocacy for clients facing divorce, disputes over legal decision-making and parenting time, property disputes, and complex personal claims.

Legal matters arrive in the middle of real lives.
A dispute over parenting time is a parent's relationship with a child. A contract dispute is a livelihood, a home, a plan for the future. Entitled Family & Civil Law was built around that reality: plain language, direct communication, and a clear strategic plan from the first conversation forward.
Every client receives an honest assessment of their position, an approach tailored to their goals, and the kind of personal attention that larger firms often promise but rarely deliver. When we take on a matter, we commit to it. That commitment is the foundation of how we work.
Two credentials, each with its own limits.
Entitled Family & Civil Law is operated by Sammijo Johnson, who holds two distinct Arizona credentials: a Licensed Legal Paraprofessional license authorizing legal services within defined practice areas under Arizona Code of Judicial Administration § 7-210, and a Certified Legal Document Preparer certificate authorizing the preparation of legal documents under § 7-208. Both are issued and regulated by the Arizona Supreme Court.
Entitled Family & Civil Law is operated by Sammijo Johnson. She holds an Arizona Certified Legal Document Preparer certificate under Arizona Code of Judicial Administration § 7-208, and her Licensed Legal Paraprofessional application under § 7-210 is before the Board of Nonlawyer Legal Service Providers. Both credentials are issued and regulated by the Arizona Supreme Court.
The Legal Paraprofessional license covers, for this firm, family law and civil matters that are or could be before an Arizona justice or municipal court. Within those areas an LP may give legal advice, prepare and sign documents, file and respond to actions, negotiate, and appear in court and in mediation. The Certified Legal Document Preparer credential covers the preparation of documents at a client's direction, with general legal information but without legal advice or representation, and that work runs through Entitled Document Services.
Sammijo's legal training also includes a Master of Legal Studies from the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law and ongoing Juris Doctor and doctoral coursework. This advanced legal education informs the depth and rigor of her work and does not constitute attorney licensure. Sammijo is not an attorney and does not represent clients in any capacity outside the scope of her credentials. For matters outside those credentials, the firm works in coordination with licensed Arizona attorneys so that clients receive appropriate representation.
