Current court fees.
The firm's professional fees are flat where they can be and published on the fees page. The amounts on this page are different: they are set by the courts, and you pay them to the court, at cost, never as part of the firm's fee.
Two separate charges. Entitled Family & Civil Law charges only the professional fee on its fees page. Court filing fees, process server and constable charges, and certified copies are set by the court or the vendor, are not included in that fee, and are never marked up. You pay the court directly when you file, or the firm advances the fee and passes it through at cost on your statement; the engagement letter says which.
Current as of September 2026; subject to change. Courts revise their fees from time to time. This page is updated as changes are announced, and the official schedule linked in each section controls if it differs from what is printed here. Confirm the current amount before you file or pay.
General information only. This page is general information, not legal advice. Fee waivers and deferrals exist for most filings; whether you qualify is decided by the court. Amounts marked "see schedule" depend on the case type, the county, or the filing.
Maricopa County Superior Court, Clerk of the Court
Paid to the Clerk of the Superior Court when you file. Amounts are from the Clerk's schedule dated March 1, 2026. Other Arizona counties add their own local fees.
Maricopa County Justice Courts
Paid to the justice court when you file. Base fees are set by the state and each county adds local amounts, so fees differ by county. Constable writ fees include the first six miles of travel.
Process servers and constables
Preparing the papers for service, arranging the server, and tracking the return of service are included in the firm's packages. The server's or constable's own invoice passes through at cost.
Fee waivers and deferrals
Decided by the court, on an application filed with your first papers.
Arizona courts waive or defer filing fees for people who qualify by income or public benefits. A waiver removes the fee; a deferral lets you file now and pay later, often in installments. The firm prepares the application with your filing and tells you what the court decides.
Outside Maricopa County
Every county keeps its own schedule.
Arizona sets a statewide base for filing fees, and each county clerk and justice court adds local amounts, so the same petition can cost a little more or less in Pima, Pinal, or Yavapai County. The firm confirms the exact fee for your court in writing before anything is filed.
Amounts on this page were checked against the official schedules on September 8, 2026. Courts change fees without notice, and the official schedule controls.
